Colleen’s New LOW//

Colleen Gulick, who is one of the Deluxe Cycles track racing team’s coaches just got a new race bike! LOW// sponsored her team Pickle Juice by providing custom painted Road MK I framesets! Built to spec with SRAM Force 22 and a ritchey cockpit, this bike is a road ripper. We threw on our own Deluxe carbon wheels for the photo, but Colleen will be sponsored by and riding FFWD wheels. Good luck this season Colleen!

Custom Wheel Building

Jesse just got a new set of carbon Deluxe road wheels for his race machine. Naturally, Tijon built them up in time for Jesse’s first road race this Saturday!

First Tijon cuts the spokes to length with our Philwood spoke cutter. After the spokes are the right length, he applies spoke prep and uses a special technique to cure it. Once he starts lacing, he’ll get them to tension with our P & K Lie truing stand which measures the most heinous imperfections.

Every wheel is built to spec with flag ship tools and extensive experience. We’re proud to offer such precise attention to detail.

L&C 6 Days At Kissena

Last weekend we sponsored the first two days of the Lucarelli & Castaldi 6 Days at Kissena track racing series. We had a neutral support station for everyone in case they needed mechanical help as well as some equipment for sale.

We also had some of our team come out to race. Wilis raced solo the first day, and then offered neutral support on day 2 while Jesse and Mark raced. We didn’t quite get the results we were looking for, but we felt strong and are looking forward to a great rest of the season.

We wanted to thank everyone who came out to race, Brean of Pink Rhino Racing and Jason of Affinity Cycles for throwing and hosting the races, Lucarelli and Castaldi for making it happen as the title sponsor, and of course Kenji for shooting all the photos!

Conor’s new Weis!

Conor just got his hands on a new Weis track frame and got it built up. Built up with a nice mesh of Enve, Sugino direct drive, and HED Belgium rims laced to Dura Ace, this bike is ready to rip!

Weis is a newer frame builder in Brooklyn and is pushing the boundaries of how bikes are built in ways that make sense from a racing perspective and we’re in full support!
