A 1987 Team Fuji Time Trial “funny” bike built up as a town masher. A mix of Shimano Santé and Shimano 600 components only add to the time period flavor. This bike handles like nothing you’ve ridden before! Come by the shop and take it fast around a sharp corner- you’ll feel why this is called a funny bike.

Brian’s 853 Custom
Brian built this frame himself! Built from various tubes including Reynolds 853 this fattie rides like a dream. Personalized with his signature beer bottle cap this bike is a monster. Titanium bars, dropper post, internal routing make it a stunner. Happy trail riding!
Wilis and Cooper win the Redbull Minidrome!
rbmd from Jesse Shotland on Vimeo.
Wilis and Cooper had a blast at the Redbull Minidrome. Wilis tore apart two of his bikes to build a special minidrome specific bike- the result was this Landshark! Big thanks to Redbull for making it happen. All of our winnings are going straight into funding the upcoming CX season!
Thanks to Rafael Luvecee and Jason Gallagher from Affinity for the footage!

Welcome Brian to Deluxe Cycles!
We’re so stoked to welcome Brian to the Deluxe crew. Brian is from Colorado and moved to Brooklyn in 2009. He’s what you would call a football fanatic, rooting for his home team, the Denver Broncos, although the Giants are warming up to him a little he admits. Brian has two sweet-as-can-be dogs that are just a treat whenever he brings them to the shop! He loves all kinds of cycling, but specifically road and mountain.
Brian is a Serotta certified fitter with experience in road, cross, track, tri, tt and mtb and even has experience in adaptive fit for people with injuries and disabilities. He used to be a professional team mechanic and over the years has earned multiple certifications in different facets of bicycle mechanics ranging from electronic groupsets to downhill suspension overhauls. He also has experience working at top 10 bike shops in the country as a fitter and mechanic.
Again, we’re stoked to have him on board..!
Brian’s Spot Brand Track
Brian has this Spot track build that’s unlike most. Featuring Stans Alpha 340 rims, this bike has already dropped a lot of weight. Having a ti stem and seatpost guarantees a ride like no other! Brian decided to stay away from conventional track cranks and went with a set of Dura Ace road cranks!
Jesse’s Kalavinka
Jesse just built up a new Kalavinka NJS frame for racing! Hatta swan headset and bottom bracket for smooth running, Nitto post and stem to keep it classy, and a San Marco Concor Light saddle to keep it familiar. Suzue Promax hubs laced 1x in front and 2x in rear to shiny A23s make it a beaut, but what sets this NJS apart from others is that it’s set up tubeless! Can’t forget the blue toshi straps on MKS Sylvain Lite pedals, too!
Wraith Hustle
Brian just built up a new Wraith Hustle road bike! With an Ultegra Di2 groupo this bike ready for some miles! He had to drill out holes for the Di2 wires to route through the frameset to make it work, too. Brian put a personal touch into this bike by including a Lagunitas bottle cap as the headset cap and, literally, shotgun shells for barplugs. Bang.
